Kristina is co-owner of Samsara Yoga Center. She has practiced yoga since her teens, first as a way through pain and body unbalance, finding the peace and well-being of a meditative practice along the way. A Master’s in Counseling Psychology and teacher training in the Iyengar tradition informs her approach to yoga that integrates mental and physical wellness with an appreciation for the eight limbs of the yoga tradition. Kristina completed her YA 200-hour teacher training with Dariel Woltz at Studio Panterra, and has since taught yoga in private sessions and in the Chautauqua County Jail.  The Hatha-based yoga classes she guides are inclusive of every body at every level, with an emphasis on learning about and honoring your individual body and mind at each moment. Her pronouns are she/her/hers.

Kara fell in love with a vinyasa practice back in 2007 when she practiced invigorating and empowering flows taught by a young American teacher in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Upon Kara's return to the US from her study abroad she kept up her yoga practice and in a year's time attended an Iyengar workshop with Francious Raoult which opened her eyes to a deeply alignment based practice. Kara practiced an Iyengar based studio and home practice for six years before making the big decision to attend a teacher training in hatha-vinyasa. She trained with Kimberly Waugh, ERYT 500 of Radiant Life Yoga School, RYT for her 200 hour initial teacher training. She used her valuable teaching skills to then teach vinyasa classes to beginners-advanced students in Busan, South Korea where she also practiced Ashtanga-based classes and then Acro Yoga with Kaizen Korea, eventually she became a member of the Kaizen Acro Crew which gave her the opportunity to train hard, push her physical boundaries, and perform acro yoga for events around South Korea. After leaving South Korea, Kara spent one month in Indore, India training for her 300 hour YTTC in hatha yoga and yoga therapy at the Paramanand Yoga Institute. Kara had a wonderful experience of living at an ashram and deepening her knowledge of meditation, pranayama, and yoga therapy. Kara has also taught internationally in the Philippines, Greece, and Canada. Kara has been teaching in Jamestown, NY since October 2016 and is excited to join the Sun & Moon Yoga family where she will have students utilize props to find proper alignment in comfortable and challenging postures, and in doing so they will learn about themselves by learning about their body's amazing abilities. Her pronouns are she/her/hers.

Andrea has been practicing yoga on and off since 2007.  In 2015 she was in an accident that subsequently brought her solidly back to her practice.  Yoga helped her heal her mind and body.  The same incident triggered her journey with the body positivity movement.  Soon after, she came across plus size yogis on social media and this changed everything.  At this moment, Andrea's love of yoga and her work on changing ideas about body image came together.
Andrea is currently enrolled in her 200 hour teacher training at the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy. She will complete her studies in May of 2019.  Andrea has also participated in a 6 week program entitled “Yoga For All” led by Dianne Bondy and Amber Karnes.  The program is a “teacher training focused on teaching yoga to people in non-traditional yoga bodies”.  Andrea can't wait to share her own experience along with her passion for showing people how they too, maybe can change the way they see themselves.  When not doing yoga, she also shows her passion in the founding of Ample Movement, a group that focuses on outdoor adventures in diverse bodies.
Her pronouns are she/her/hers.

Hi, I’m Megan! I’ve been teaching yoga since October 2016 and practicing since September 2014. I quickly fell in love and recognized early on that I was being called to teach and share this magical, transformative and powerful practice with others. I’m currently studying Vinyasa Yoga and pursuing my 200 RYT through a program called YogaFit™ Who am I? I’m an extroverted-introvert. I love meeting friends for a night out and I hold down a fun and dynamic career in tourism marketing, but I’m a self-described crazy cat lady who fills my cup back up by preparing healthy food at home, mediating and reading…I just started a book club, ask me about it! Her pronouns are she/her/hers.
